Australia will need 110,000 more aged care workers within the next decade according to research published in August by the Committee for Economic Development of Australia (CEDA).

Registered Nurse (Aged Care) is on the Priority Migration Skilled Occupation List (PMSOL).

Registered Nurses who work in Aged Care earn a median income of AUD$77,386 per year with the top jobs earning up to $99,000 per year in Australia.

The Aged Care worker shortage could balloon to 400,000 jobs before 2050, the research found.

There are 44 occupations on the PMSOL and applicants who work in one of the professions on the list will have their visas fast-tracked.

Australia has now reopened to skilled migrants and students after almost two years after tight border restrictions were put in place to limit the spread of covid-19.

There are 90% of Australians above 16 now with two doses of the Pfizer, Astra Zeneca or Moderna vaccines.

Check the PMSOL to see what jobs there will be in Australia in the future and give yourself a better option, there are many well-paid jobs in Australia waiting to be filled.
