The subclass 190 Skilled Nominated visa will be opening for application in some states in October. The following is a state-by-state summary of current subclass 190 visa programmes in Australia. It may help you plan your next move with confidence.

NSW: Only applicants currently in selected health, ICT and engineering occupations will be invited, and only those who currently reside in NSW. You do not need to submit a new EOI in SkillSelect if your current EOI is valid.

VIC: Victoria has limited its list of subclass 190 occupations and applicants who submitted a Registration of Interest on the Live in Melbourne website before 5pm AEST on the 21st September are being considered for application.

WA: The subclass 190 visa nominations are expected to restart in October. Follow developments here:

NT: Onshore General Skilled Migration nomination applications and all Business Investment and Innovation Program nomination applications will continue to be accepted and assessed, but no nominations can be issued until the Northern Territory has been allocated quotas. There are no offshore applications being accepted yet.

ACT: 190 applications are being accepted for people on the Critical Skills Occupation list. A new round of nominations is expected on October 23.
