The DIBP has changed the assessment level for students planning on studying in Australia coming from India.
India is now an AL2 country which means no financial, no English requirement at the time of Visa application. It was previously AL3 country.
Universities and institutes have also changed their requirements for Indian students.
If the University wants, they can request IELTS ( this will be on case to case basis) but the DIBP do not require IELTS at lodgement. Some Universities may accept students without IELTS and financials.
