The Times of India has reported that there has been a 25% surge on Indians enrolling as International Students in Australia. The Times of India spoke with Cyrus Mistry to find out more on how these students may be able to put down roots and live permanently in their host country. 

“Introduction of new Regional (Provisional) visas, which provide an option of conversion to permanent residency after a tenure of three years, could also be attractive to international students, provided they are willing to settle in regional areas.”
