The State or Territory Sponsored Investment Visa allows successful investors to live permanently in Australia. To be eligible for this visa, investors must hold a provisional Sponsored Investor visa, have maintained a designated investment in Australia for at least four years and be sponsored by a state or territory authority.
Visa Requirements
To be eligible for this visa applicant must:
- hold a provisional State/Territory Sponsored Investor visa (subclass 165)
- have been in Australia as the holder of that visa for a total of at least two years during the last four years
- be sponsored by an Australian State or Territory authority
Investment
- You (and your spouse/de facto partner, if applicable) must have continuously held a designated investment of at least A$750,000 in Australia for at least four years
- You (and your spouse/de facto partner, if applicable) have never been involved in unacceptable business or investment activities
- You are committed to maintaining investment activity or a business in Australia
Subclass 893 visa is a temporary visa valid for up to 4 years and permits the applicant to live and work in Australia. Immediate family members (such as a partner and dependent children) included on the application are also entitled to live, work and study in Australia.
