Perth - Migration boost as a Regional area

The legislative instrument designating the state of Western Australia as a regional area for the purposes of the Regional Skilled Migration Scheme (RSMS) and Skilled - Regional (Family Sponsored) visas have now been announced.

PERMANENT RESIDENCE - RSMS (Company Sponsored) 

If you have:

1.    An IELTS test result of 4.5 (average over all four components)

2.    Qualifications related to your occupation equivalent to:

            a) an AQF Diploma level

            b) an AQF Certificate III  (if you have a trade level occupation) or

            c) a recognized overseas Apprenticeship

3.    An eligible employer willing to sponsor you. The employment must:

            a) be full-time (minimum 38 hours per week)

            b) pay a minimum salary of $49,330 p.a. plus 9% superannuation and any overtime / industry awards (based on a 38 hour week)

            c) be for a contract period of minimum two (2) years, and

            d) be in an occupation related to your qualifications

… then you may be eligible to apply for a RSMS Permanent Residency visa*.
